This place is stupendous. Inside and outside seating. Nate was a life saver today. I'm not big on coffee but he made a great mocha that was just what was needed. His great attitude, service and drink turned my day around. I ordered the turkey bacon panini with salted kettle chips. Perfect amount of food at a great price. The music wasn't too loud, the air conditioning was just right, the vibes were chill and all around happy. Definitely dig this place.

Cafe Navarre is one of the last few remaining old school New Orleans neighborhood restaurants. The dining room is not fancy, clean enough, and pretty tight but comfortable. They don’t have a lot of classic New Orleans dishes, but a few favorites remain, like the roast beef poboy. It came on a toasted bun, the bread was solid. It wasn’t really a juicy beef, but it wasn’t dry either. It was kind of unusual, but very tasty. I asked for mayo, but somehow it came without it. No problem. I got a better taste of the beef. There was no wait when we got there at noon on a Sunday, but while we were there some people had a little wait. There were tables outside but it was so hot I can’t imagine that would have been pleasant.

I have been a patron for almost 15 years since my days in college. Love showing friends this secret spot in Mid-City. Always satisfied and service has never been a let down. Met Mr. Jimmy last weekend and he provided us a good amount of laughs. It was like seeing an old friend even though it was our 1st time meeting. Staff was on top of everything and the food was impeccable. I hope I get to keep bringing friends for another 15 years.

Loved the food here, we had brunch so that means Benedicts and omelettes. We sat outside which meant we got a lot of traffic noise. Really appreciated our server, she recommended without pushing and was very quick.

Great place also has outdoor dining the breakfast was fantastic and the mimosas were delicious. You have to try the Frozen screwdriver. One of the few places my mom and I and kids all went with no complaints.

Ate here on Saturday morning, it was busy, but we were seated promptly. Water's and silverware were brought immediately. Our server, "Angie"(I think that was her name), was spot on and super friendly. The food was delicious. I will be back again. It was fantastic! Oh, we came back on Sunday, even busier than yesterday! Bad experience at another local restaurant. We came here. Again, fantastic service.

A true neighborhood restaurant! This adorable Cafe is the perfect place to get great food with great service. The staff know the menu and give great recommendations. They also know their customers, I over heard so many warm greetings and catching up after travels. The food was very good! I got the pest chicken sandwich and my partner got the turkey avocado. Both were great and the sweet potato fries are so good! We also got a bowl of their shrimp corn chowder, a little heat and lots of shrimp! I can't wait to go back for breakfast or the happy hour soon! Street parking is free and can be a little hard to find during busy hours.
